Bishkek, March 11, 2026. /Kabar/. Tax and insurance premium debts accrued before 2022 are subject to write-off, Kubanychbek Ysabekov, Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service told Birinchi Radio.
According to him, the corresponding amendments were made to the Tax Code last year in accordance with a presidential decree.
"Regarding tax write-offs, it was decided that if the debt accrued before 2022, such debts will be written off. "The only condition is that no criminal case must be initiated on this matter," Kubanychbek Ysabekov emphasized.
He added that other debts may also be subject to write-off, including in cases where there is already a court decision.
"Other debts, even if there is a court decision, may also be written off," he stated.
He noted that the State Tax Service intends to further clarify the application of these regulations at the local level. The agency plans to send a circular to all districts to ensure that write-off decisions are made without unnecessary bureaucracy and strictly within the law.
Furthermore, the deputy chairman reported that individual write-off decisions have been made in a number of areas. Specifically, this concerns issues related to livestock exports to Uzbekistan, as well as cases of undocumented agricultural product purchases.
