Bishkek, March 4, 2025. /Kabar/. A delegation of the State Tax Service headed by Chairman Almambet Shykmamatov visited the Czech Republic and Estonia to study best practices in the field of digitalization of tax administration.
The Kyrgyz delegation was met by head of the Financial Administration of the Czech Republic Simona Homochova and a delegation from the Ministry of Finance of the Czech Republic.
In addition, negotiations were held in Prague with representatives of leading Czech IT companies specializing in the development of digital solutions for the tax sphere:
DATASYS (Miroslav Novak);
DATASYS EM (Martin Šretr);
CZ (Aleš Kučera).
The meeting discussed key aspects of digitalization of tax administration, the advantages of the transition to electronic document management and successful examples of implementing technologies in the tax sphere. Particular attention was paid to the use of postal infrastructure for automated interaction between tax authorities and taxpayers.
The main goal of these visits is a detailed study of European approaches to tax administration and the search for solutions that can be adapted for Kyrgyzstan.
As part of the trip, Almambet Shykmamatov visited the headquarters of the international IT company Nortal in Estonia, which specializes in digital transformations and the development of technologies for the public and corporate sectors. Nortal operates in the USA, Europe, and the Middle East, providing solutions for the automation of public services.
During the visit, the Kyrgyz delegation got acquainted with the key achievements of Estonia in the field of digitalization, including:
- optimization of public services and reduction of bureaucratic barriers;
- reduction of administrative costs;
- increasing the transparency of public administration;
- implementation of innovative tax solutions.
The experience of Estonia and the Czech Republic will be analyzed for possible use in Kyrgyzstan. The State Tax Service continues to work on introducing modern technologies into the country's tax system, aimed at increasing the efficiency of administration and improving interaction with citizens and businesses.
