Bishkek, Oct. 8, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan participated in the 3rd Meeting of Ministers of Justice of Organization of Turkic States (OTS) in Istanbul on October 7. Ministry of Justice of Kyrgyz Republic reports.
According to the ministry, the meeting was attended by the Minister of Justice of Kyrgyzstan, Almaz Ayylchiev; the Minister of Justice of Turkiye, Akin Gürlek; the Minister of Justice of Azerbaijan, Farid Ahmadov; the Minister of Justice of Uzbekistan, Akbar Tashkulov; the Deputy Minister of Justice of Kazakhstan, Botagoz Zhakselekova; and OTS Secretary General Kubanychbek Omuraliev.
During the meeting, the ministers exchanged information on justice sector reforms being implemented in the member states and discussed promising areas for future cooperation.
It is noted that the representatives placed special emphasis on the digitalization of the justice system and the implementation of modern information technologies and digital solutions aimed at enhancing the efficiency and accessibility of justice.
Almaz Ayilchiev emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is actively implementing the digitalization of the justice system by consistently introducing modern technologies and digital tools into the operations of justice agencies and the judiciary.
In particular, it was noted that digital transformation is a priority area of the reforms underway in Kyrgyzstan, aimed at improving the quality of public services, ensuring access to justice, streamlining administrative procedures, and enhancing the efficiency of government bodies.
The meeting participants underscored the importance of sharing experience and practical solutions regarding digitalization, as well as fostering cooperation among the justice ministries of OTS member countries.
Following the meeting, the ministers signed the Joint Communiqué of the 3rd Meeting of Ministers of Justice of the Organization of Turkic States, outlining the key areas for future cooperation.
Kyrgyzstan to host the next 4th meeting in 2027.
It is noted that hosting the next meeting in Kyrgyzstan will provide an additional opportunity to exchange experience and strengthen cooperation among the member states of the Organization of Turkic States in the fields of justice and digital transformation.
