Bishkek, March 11, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan aims to enter the list of the world’s top 30 countries by economic income within the next 10–15 years, President Sadyr Zhaparov said while speaking at a session of the Jogorku Kenesh on Wednesday.

“We promised the people that we would work honestly and eradicate corruption, and we must fulfill these promises. In the next 10–15 years, we intend to enter the list of the 30 most developed countries in the world in terms of economic income,” the president said.

He noted that the global situation remains unstable and stressed the importance of working together for the benefit of the country and its citizens rather than for personal interests.

Zhaparov also emphasized that corruption poses a serious threat to the state.

“A criminal may take one life, but a corrupt official can destroy an entire country. Help fight corruption. If you see that government officials are stealing or engaging in corrupt acts, speak about it openly from this podium. Do not be afraid of anyone. I will stand by you and protect you,” the head of state said.
