Bishkek, Dec. 23, 2025. /Kabar/. GDP growth in 2024 was 11.5%, and this rate will be maintained in 2025, with GDP growth over the first 11 months reaching 10.2%, announced Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Adylbek Kasymaliev during a joint meeting of Jogorku Kenesh committees.
According to him, while GDP in 2024 was 1.6 trillion soms, preliminary estimates indicate it will exceed 1.8 trillion soms in 2025.
"In 2020, GDP was 639 billion soms. Since Sadyr Zhaparov came to power, GDP has tripled. These growth figures demonstrate sustainable economic development and the effectiveness of the reforms being implemented. Kyrgyzstan will be among the top three countries in the world in terms of GDP growth in 2024 and will become the first among EAEU countries in 2025. This indicates that Kyrgyzstan is recognized on the global stage as a confident and rapidly growing country. Yesterday, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasized this at the informal CIS summit in St. Petersburg," Kasymaliev said.
