Bishkek, April 21, 2026. /Kabar/. On April 20, 2026, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Meder Abakirov received copies of the credentials from Alejandro Arias, Ambassador of the Dominican Republic to the Kyrgyz Republic, based in Moscow.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported that during the meeting, the parties expressed mutual interest in strengthening bilateral trade and economic relations, including in the areas of sustainable development, agriculture, education, sports, and tourism.
The parties noted the successful cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Dominican Republic within international organizations.
At the end of the meeting, they agreed to continue working together to organize reciprocal visits and political consultations to advance the practical implementation of the identified issues.
