Bishkek, March 6, 2026 /Kabar/. Within the framework of the ITB Berlin 2026 international tourism exhibition in Berlin, the Department of Tourism organized an official reception for tour operators from Kyrgyzstan and Germany, Ministry of Economy and Commerce reports.
The event aimed to implement the Memorandum of Understanding and Strategic Cooperation between the Ministry of Economy and the Deutscher Reiseverband (DRV).
About 300 representatives of the German tourism industry attended the reception. During the event, information was provided about the tourism potential of Kyrgyzstan, the World Nomad Games and the Chingiz Aitmatov International Issyk-Kul Forum.
"The event created an opportunity to expand business ties, strengthen partnerships, and further promote Kyrgyzstan's tourism potential in the European market," the statement says.
