Bishkek, Feb. 26, 2025. /Kabar/. On February 25, a meeting of leading representatives of business, agriculture and public organizations of the Republic of Korea was held in Bishkek, dedicated to the development of a strategic partnership with the Kyrgyz Republic.
The National Investment Agency under the President of Kyrgyzstan said that the participants included key figures behind successful international projects: Governor of Yeongyang-gun Province Kwon Yong-Taek, General Director of AYOUNG Construction Co. Ltd. Lee Ki-won and General Director of HSM Energy Co. Ltd. Chung Hyun-ki.
The discussion focused on new investment projects and prospects for cooperation in the agro-industrial sector. The Republic of Korea considers Kyrgyzstan a reliable partner in the field of agriculture, and the development of this area opens up great opportunities for farmers and entrepreneurs of both countries. Particular attention at the meeting was paid to the role of Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to the Republic of Korea Aida Ismailova. In her speech, the ambassador emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral relations and noted that the agricultural sector is one of the key areas of development of the Kyrgyz economy. The conclusion of new agreements between Korean companies and Kyrgyz partners is another step towards strengthening economic ties and forming a sustainable agricultural system in Central Asia.
