Bishkek, Feb. 5, 2026 /Kabar/. As part of his working visit to Bahrain on February 5, 2026, Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Saudi Arabia Ulukbek Maripov met with Bahraini Minister of Industry and Trade Abdullah bin Adel Fakhru, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
During the meeting, the parties discussed the development and deepening of trade, economic, and investment cooperation, increasing joint trade turnover between the two countries, including organizing a visit by a Bahraini business delegation to the Kyrgyz Republic as part of the Second Investment Forum between the countries of Central Asia and the Gulf Cooperation Council, scheduled for April 24-25, 2026, in Bishkek.
Maripov invited his interlocutor to personally participate in the Second Investment Forum "CA+GCC" in the Kyrgyz Republic as the head of the Bahraini delegation, with the goal of further establishing and strengthening trade, economic, and investment cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kingdom of Bahrain.
In turn, Abdullah Fakhru expressed gratitude for the invitation and, noting the importance of the upcoming investment forum in the Kyrgyz Republic, said he would strive to personally participate in it together with the delegation from Bahrain.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to further advance the issues discussed and continue work to further strengthen trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
