Bishkek, April 22, 2025. /Kabar/. As part of an official visit to the Kingdom of Bahrain, President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov met with Chairman of the Advisory Council of the National Assembly Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh.
The press service of the head of state said that during the meeting, issues of deepening inter-parliamentary cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kingdom of Bahrain were discussed, and an exchange of views took place on the prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in the political, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres.
The President emphasized that Bahrain is one of the priority Arab countries for Kyrgyzstan.
“Our countries are united by common spiritual values. I am confident that today's meeting will give a powerful impetus to the development of Kyrgyz-Bahraini inter-parliamentary relations,” the head of state said and emphasized that Kyrgyzstan seeks to take relations and cooperation with the Kingdom of Bahrain to a new level.
The Chairman of the Advisory Council of the National Assembly of the Kingdom of Bahrain Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh, in turn, expressed interest in deepening cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.
"The Kingdom of Bahrain, as you know, is a recognized financial center, where significant international financial transactions are carried out. I am confident that if the Kyrgyz Republic is interested in attracting investments and implementing large-scale infrastructure projects, you will be able to find the necessary support and reliable partners here," said Ali bin Saleh Al-Saleh.
In conclusion, the parties expressed confidence that cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Bahrain will continue to develop and deepen.
