Kyrgyzstan, India confirm readiness to comprehensively develop friendly relations

Bishkek, Dec. 1, 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev received today Indian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Birender Singh Yadav.

According to the ministry, during the meeting, the parties discussed a wide range of current issues of Kyrgyz-Indian cooperation, emphasizing the progressive development of the bilateral strategic partnership.

In particular, Foreign Minister Jeenbek Kulubaev noted with satisfaction the signing of two memoranda of understanding on November 17 of this year. These documents, concerning the implementation of projects at the General Medical Practice Center and Kyrgyz University of Economics, are an important indicator of practical bilateral cooperation.

The Indian ambassador congratulated the Kyrgyz side on the successful parliamentary elections held on November 30, as well as on the organization of major international events in Bishkek. He also praised the reforms in Kyrgyzstan.

The interlocutors also discussed prospects for increasing mutual trade, including on the basis of the agreements reached at the 4th Ministerial Meeting of the Central Asia-India Dialogue, held on June 5-6 of this year in New Delhi.

A separate exchange of views took place on the organization of high-level bilateral visits.

Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness for the further comprehensive development of friendly Kyrgyz-Indian relations, the report said.
