Bishkek, Nov. 5, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Ambassador Ermek Omuraliev met with Fabrizio Benzoni, Chairman of the "Italy – Central Asia" Friendship Group in the Italian Chamber of Deputies.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the meeting addressed the expansion of inter-parliamentary cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Italy, the organization of reciprocal visits by parliamentary delegations, and the strengthening of ties between the sectoral committees of the two countries' parliaments.
Discussions also covered joint initiatives in the trade-economic, investment, and cultural-humanitarian spheres.
The ambassador invited Italian companies to participate in investment and infrastructure projects in Kyrgyzstan, including in the hydropower sector.
In turn, Fabrizio Benzoni expressed interest in strengthening inter-parliamentary relations and proposed organizing joint activities to further develop cooperation.
