Bishkek, June 10, 2026 /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov signed the law "On ratification of the Agreement between Kyrgyzstan and Japan for elimination of double taxation signed on December 19, 2025, in Tokyo."
The law was adopted by Jogorku Kenesh on May 20, 2026.
The purpose of the agreement is to eliminate double taxation with respect to income taxes without creating the possibility of tax exemption or reduced taxation through tax evasion and avoidance (including by taking advantage of treaties aimed at obtaining benefits provided for in this agreement for the indirect benefit of residents of third countries).
