Bishkek, March 16, 2026. /Kabar/. A dairy farm using Swedish technologies is being launched in the Chui Oblast at the Tashtan peasant farm, the Ministry of Agriculture reported.
According to the ministry, the farm is being built based on a design by DeLaval (Sweden), a world leader in dairy farming. The milking system is installed in a 2x14 herringbone format, allowing for the simultaneous milking of 28 cows. This computer system provides online monitoring of daily milk yield, milk volume at each milking, as well as the activity, health, and productivity of each cow.
The current plan is to import 336 Holstein dairy cows. In addition, approximately 30 percent of the herd will be replacement cows. The total farm population will be approximately 436 head.
Furthermore, the farm is equipped with a high-tech ventilation and microclimate system. It automatically regulates cooling, ventilation, and temperature, creating optimal conditions for the animals.
The farm's production process is fully automated and based on environmentally friendly technologies. An automatic manure removal system is in operation. A DeLaval separator separates the manure into liquid and solid fractions: the liquid is used for irrigation and fertigation, and the solid is used as dry organic fertilizer. This system allows for a completely waste-free production cycle. According to the ministry, Erlist Akunbekov, Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry, inspected the operations of the Tashtan breeding farm.
