Bishkek, Dec. 5, 2025. /Kabar/. Commission fees for money transfers have been temporarily restricted, the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
According to the regulator, the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic prohibits commercial banks and payment institutions from:
- charging commissions from individual clients for money transfers in national currency within the Kyrgyz Republic, conducted through mobile applications and online banking;
- charging commissions from recipients of money transfers when receiving money transfers within the Kyrgyz Republic via international money transfer systems without opening an account.
The resolution comes into force on January 1, 2026 and is valid until December 31, 2026.
