Bishkek, March 26, 2025. /Kabar /. The Kyrgyzstan national team won a brilliant victory over the Qatar team with a score of 3:1 in the match that took place in Bishkek on Tuesday.
The hosts opened the scoring in the first half, after which the Qatar team managed to equalize the score. However, in the second half of the match, the Kyrgyz team scored two more goals, securing a well-deserved victory.
This is the first home meeting of the national team in 2025. In the third round, 18 teams are divided into three groups of six teams. Based on the results of this stage, the two best teams from each group will receive tickets to the 2026 World Cup. The fourth qualifying round will determine two more representatives from Asia, and an additional place in the World Cup will be played out through the intercontinental playoffs.
