Kyrgyzstan offers free exit visas to foreigners violating immigration rules

Bishkek, June 26, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan has adopted a presidential decree allowing foreign citizens and stateless persons who violate immigration laws to leave the country voluntarily and without administrative sanctions, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

The measure will be in effect from July 1 to July 31, 2026.

To legally leave the country, violators must apply for a letter from the local police department at their place of residence. Based on this document, foreigners must submit an online application for an exit visa on the website www.evisa.e-gov.kg.

Under the temporary measure, exit visas will be issued free of charge, and administrative fines for violations of the rules of stay in Kyrgyzstan will be waived.

The Foreign Ministry urged applicants to submit their documents personally and avoid using intermediaries.

Applications for free exit visas submitted after 11:59 p.m. on July 31, 2026, will not be accepted. The ministry therefore advised eligible individuals to complete the application process well before the deadline.
