On April 7, 2025, a meeting was held between Director of the Consular Department of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Seitek Zhumakadyr uulu and Consul of the Embassy of the Arab Republic of Egypt in the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Astana Karim Mazru, the Foreign Ministry reported.
During the meeting, the parties discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation in the consular sphere. Particular attention was paid to the protection of the rights and interests of citizens of the two countries on the territory of the two states. In addition, the parties discussed the simplification of visa procedures for citizens of both countries in order to create favorable conditions for mutual travel. Following the meeting, the parties agreed to maintain close and regular contacts on all issues of mutual interest.
