Bishkek, April 9, 2026 /Kabar/. President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Zhaparov signed the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic "On Ratification of the Agreement between the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Government of the Republic of Slovenia on Mutual Exemption of Diplomatic Passport Holders from Short-Term Visa Requirements, signed on 16 October 2025 in Ljubljana."
The Law was adopted by the Kyrgyz Parliament on 12 March 2026.
The purpose of this Law is to implement domestic procedures for ratifying this Agreement.
The Agreement provides that citizens of each Party holding valid diplomatic passports may enter, transit, stay in and leave the territory of the other Party without a visa for a period not exceeding ninety (90) days within any one hundred and eighty (180) day period.
