Bishkek, Feb. 20, 2025. /Kabar/. Deputy Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Meder Abakirov met in Bishkek with Ambassador of the Swiss Confederation Olivier Bangerter.
The Foreign Ministry said that during the meeting, current issues and prospects for developing bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Switzerland were discussed.
Noting the significant intensification of political, trade and economic cooperation, they confirmed their interest in organizing mutual high-level visits and holding the next meeting of the Kyrgyz-Swiss intergovernmental commission.
The sides also discussed the participation of a high-level Swiss delegation in the International Conference "Global Mountain Dialogue for Sustainable Development", which will be held on April 22-23, 2025 in Bishkek.
