Kyrgyzstan takes part in Ankara International Book Fair

Bishkek, April 6, 2026. /Kabar/. The 23rd Ankara Book Fair opened in the Turkish capital, Ministry of Culture, Information, and Youth Policy reports.

According to the ministry, the event, which runs from April 3 to 13, is major cultural platform bringing together publishers, writers, and readers from across the globe.

The fair is organized by Eylül Fuar Organization, and this year Kyrgyzstan is participating as an honorary guest.

The opening ceremony was attended by Ambassador Ruslan Kazakbaev, TURKSOY Secretary General Sultan Raev, Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism Mehmet Nuri Ersoy, Chairman of the Turkish Writers' Union Musa Kazım Aryjan, and representatives of the Turkish literary community.

The fair will feature book presentations, thematic discussions, and meetings with authors. The Kyrgyz delegation is represented by the Alykul Osmonov National Library.
