Bishkek, Nov. 2, 2026. /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov announced during meeting with residents of Talas city and the Talas and Bakai-Ata districts that residential complex, consisting of 11 blocks and designed for 9,495 apartments, is currently under construction in Talas city.
According to the head of state, if construction is completed by the end of next year, the apartments will be made available for occupancy in stages.
"If the construction of the buildings is finished by the end of next year, we will begin handing over the apartments," Zhaparov said.
The pesident also noted that 1,659 citizens in Talas region are currently on the waiting list to receive housing under the "My Home" (Menin Uium) state housing program.
The head of state pointed out that in June of this year, 319 families were provided with housing through the State Mortgage Company.
