Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2026 /Kabar/. Plans are in place to commission approximately 100 schools across the republic by the end of the year; 20 schools and kindergartens have already opened. Nurdan Oruntaev, the Minister of Construction, Architecture, and Housing and Communal Services reports.
According to him, the construction of new educational facilities focuses primarily on the use of modern materials and furniture, as well as the creation of fully autonomous facilities.
"We are paying special attention to new materials, modern furniture, and transitioning schools to autonomous operation. For instance, solar panels have been installed at the school on Sadygaliev Street in Bishkek. They generate 104 kW of electricity, effectively resolving the power supply issue. In the future, all schools will be equipped according to this standard," Oruntaev noted.
The head of the agency emphasized that facilities would be commissioned in all regions of the country before the year ends.
"We will commission another 10 schools in Bishkek and 5 in Manas city. Today, two schools are opening in Osh city, and another eight will be commissioned by the end of October," the minister added.
