Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2025 /Kabar/. The production of 20 and 50 som banknotes will begin in Kyrgyzstan by the end of November, National Bank reports.
The Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, Melis Turgunbaev, informed President Sadyr Zhaparov that the production of the banknotes will begin on November 17.
According to him, all printing work has been completed, and preparations are underway to launch the production of the new banknotes.
