Bishkek, Oct. 12, 2026 /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov met today, October 12, with residents of the Kadamjay district and Kyzyl-Kiya.
The president began his address by recalling the country's industrial history, noting the significant role played by major enterprises of strategic importance, such as the Kyzyl-Kiya coal mine, the Kadamjai Antimony Combine, and the Aidarken Mercury Plant.
Sadyr Zhaparov added that the state has resumed restoration work at the Kadamjai Antimony Combine and the Aidarken Mercury Plant with the aim of restarting their operations.
"The antimony combine has been transferred to the management of the 'Kyrgyzaltyn' enterprise. We build mercury waste processing in Aidarken," the president said.
