Bishkek, May 27, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan will assume the presidency of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) in 2027, Russian President’s Aide Yury Ushakov told TASS.
“On 1 January 2027, the presidency [of EAEU] will pass to Kyrgyzstan,” he said ahead of the Russian president’s visit to EAEU events in Kazakhstan.
