Bishkek, July 11, 2025. /Kabar/. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Daniar Amangeldiev met with Ambassador of the Republic of Turkiye to Kyrgyzstan Mekin Mustafa Kemal Okem.
Daniar Amangeldiev noted that relations between the two countries are developing dynamically and are at a high level of bilateral interaction.
Daniar Amangeldiev noted the importance of carrying out high-quality work to implement the agreements reached between the heads of the two states. He noted the need to make every effort to bring the bilateral trade turnover to 5 billion US dollars.
"The activities of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation are one of the effective tools for interaction between Kyrgyzstan and Turkiye. The next meeting of the Commission is planned for the fall of this year, in connection with which I propose to begin preparatory work for the event," he said.
In turn, Ambassador Mekin Mustafa Kemal Okema emphasized the readiness of the Turkish side to actively implement the agreements reached, including expanding investment cooperation, trade exchange, and interaction in various fields.
He also noted the importance of the upcoming meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission and expressed confidence that the meeting in Bishkek will give a new impetus to the development of bilateral relations.
The parties outlined a number of promising areas for further expansion of cooperation, and also expressed a common interest in deepening friendly ties between the two countries.
