Kyrgyzstan, UAE discuss development of bilateral relations

Bishkek, Feb. 13, 2025. /Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Adylbek Kasymaliev met with Minister of Cabinet Affairs of the United Arab Emirates Mohamed Abdullah Al Gergawi.

The meeting took place on the sidelines of the World Governments Summit in Dubai (UAE).

During the meeting, the prospects for strengthening bilateral cooperation in various fields were discussed.

Kasymaliev noted the importance of further deepening the partnership in the field of sustainable development and innovation. He emphasized that Kyrgyzstan is interested in strengthening ties with the UAE and implementing joint projects that promote economic growth and social progress.

According to him, the UAE Government Accelerators program demonstrates its high efficiency in improving the performance of the government of our country. Within the framework of this program, 100-day sectoral reforms in 7 areas were successfully implemented. "In a short period of time, we have managed to resolve positively issues that have not been resolved for decades and created obstacles in certain areas. I think this program has become an integral part of the industry reforms carried out in Kyrgyzstan.

In the near future, within the framework of the Government Accelerators program, we will officially launch the third stage of a number of industry reforms. It is gratifying that thanks to your personal support, Kyrgyzstanis have been given the opportunity to participate in a number of important programs aimed at improving their professional level," he said.

Mohamed Abdullah Al Gergawi, in turn, confirmed the UAE's commitment to strengthening bilateral relations with Kyrgyzstan and expressed readiness to expand cooperation in various fields. He emphasized that both countries have significant potential for further development of mutually beneficial projects.

The parties noted the importance of developing economic, trade and investment relations between the two countries, successes in implementing joint projects and expressed confidence in the successful implementation of the plans.
