Bishkek, Nov. 6, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan have exchanged expertise regarding the digitalization of law enforcement agencies and cybersecurity, the General Prosecutor's Office of the Kyrgyz Republic reports.

As part of the implementation of Kyrgyzstan’s state policy on the digitalization of public administration and the integration of modern technologies into the operations of law enforcement agencies, interdepartmental delegation from Kyrgyzstan held a series of meetings with representatives from relevant government bodies in Uzbekistan. The Kyrgyz delegation included representatives from the General Prosecutor's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, and the National Bank.

During the meetings, the parties exchanged experience in areas such as the automation of prosecutorial oversight, the conduct of criminal proceedings in an electronic format, the handling of digital evidence, and the integration of state information systems and databases.

Special attention was paid to countering online fraud, including the use of anti-fraud systems to promptly identify and block suspicious financial transactions as well as to mechanisms for cooperation between banks and law enforcement agencies.

"The exchange of expertise in these areas is aimed at improving the performance of law enforcement agencies, preventing online fraud, and strengthening the protection of citizens' rights," the statement noted.
