We express our appreciation to all parties involved, including Pakistan, a member state of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO), for its active mediation efforts, as well as to all affected parties for their restraint, which contributed to this outcome.
Consistently advocating for the settlement of differences exclusively through political and diplomatic means, on the basis of the Charter of the United Nations and generally recognized norms of international law, the Kyrgyz Republic expresses its hope that the official signing of the agreement will contribute to lasting and sustainable peace in the region.
