Bishkek, Dec. 17, 2025. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan will fully pay off its accumulated debts by 2035. This was announced by President Sadyr Zhaparov at the inauguration ceremony of the deputies of the 8th convocation of the Jogorku Kenesh.
According to him, Kyrgyzstan has sufficient funds to repay its external debt even in one day. However, early repayment under the current circumstances is unprofitable due to the high interest rates and penalties stipulated in the contracts for previously received loans.
"We will continue to repay our debts in the established amount annually. According to the plan, by 2035, the country will completely eliminate the debt accumulated over previous periods, ensuring financial sustainability and economic stability," he said.
