Bishkek, Oct. 30, 2025 /Kabar/. Over the first eight months of this year, the total loan portfolio of the banking sector in Kyrgyzstan increased by more than 31.3%, said Azat Kozubekov, Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, at press conference in Bishkek.
According to him, as of the end of August, the volume of the loan portfolio exceeded 448 billion soms, which indicates active lending activity of financial institutions and increased demand for borrowed funds in the economy.
