Loans at 3%. Kyrgyzstan launches pilot project to develop meat clusters

Bishkek, March 9, 2026 /Kabar/. The Ministry of Water Resources, Agriculture, and Processing Industry has launched a pilot project to develop meat clusters in the Chui Region and Bishkek.

According to the ministry, the project covers the entire production cycle: from livestock fattening to processing and marketing.

Farmers will be provided with preferential loans at 3% per annum for up to 60 months (with a grace period of up to 12 months).

The total funding amount is 1.5 billion soms. The project is being implemented through Aiyl Bank OJSC and Eldik Bank OJSC.
