Logistics center opened in Kyrgyzstan’s Uzgen

Bishkek, June 8, 2026 /Kabar/. A logistics center for packing rice has been opened in the Uzgen region of Kyrgyzstan.

According to the presidential representative office in the Osh region, the construction of the logistics center began in August 2025. A total of 14 million 790 thousand 786 soms were spent on construction work.

The center is equipped with modern equipment worth 6 million 800 thousand soms, purchased within the framework of the ARIS CASA-1000 project.

The logistics center is capable of cleaning and vacuum packing 5 tons of rice per day. Now farmers in the region can market the rice they produce as a finished product, the report said.
