Bishkek, Aug 5, 2026. /Kabar/. Mayor of Manas Ularbek Ismailov met with a delegation of the Chinese company Harbin Hongguang Boiler Group and discussed an investment project for the construction of a modern thermal power plant (TPP) in the city.
According to the municipality, according to the project, the new TPP will be equipped with technologies that meet environmental requirements and will be designed to produce 40 MW of heat and 15 MW of electricity. Its main purpose is to provide city residents with heat and hot water.
It was also noted that it is planned to connect the Kok-Art, Dostuk, and Sputnik settlements to the centralized heating system.
