Mass commissioning of mortgaged housing planned across Kyrgyzstan in 2026

Bishkek, Jan. 13, 2026. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan is set to see large-scale commissioning of mortgaged housing in 2026, Kanybek Tumanbayev, head of the Presidential Property Management Department said.

He said the active handover of mortgaged apartments is planned in a number of regions, including Karakol, Cholpon-Ata, Tokmok, Sokuluk, Kemin, Kara-Balta, Bishkek, Osh, Talas, Batken, and Jalal-Abad.

On January 12, President Sadyr Zhaparov attended the ceremony for the handover of keys to mortgaged apartments under the second phase of construction of the Muras residential complex in Bishkek.

The president noted that construction of 80,245 mortgaged apartments is currently underway nationwide. By the end of 2026, more than 20,000 apartments are expected to be completed and delivered in Bishkek, Osh, Manas, Tokmok, Kara-Balta, Karakol, Cholpon-Ata, Balykchy, Naryn, Talas, and Batken, as well as in the Kochkor district of Naryn region and the Kara-Suu and Uzgen districts of Osh region.
