Bishkek, April 2,2026. /Kabar/. The International Monetary Fund (IMF) mission, led by Dmitry Gershenson, has concluded its work in Kyrgyzstan.
According to the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic, on April 1, NBKR Governor Almaz Baketayev held a final meeting with the IMF team. During the talks, the parties discussed monetary policy, financial sector sustainability, and measures to maintain macroeconomic stability.
IMF Managing Director Patrick Loshewski, who represents Kyrgyzstan's interests in the IMF's Swiss voting group, also participated in the meeting.
It was noted that the mission's work was an important step in strengthening trust and advancing shared economic goals.
