Bishkek, March 17, 2026 /Kabar/. Naryn Region will be the center of the main celebrations dedicated to the national holiday Nooruz-2026.
According to the Naryn oblast administration, the celebration will take place in the central square of Naryn named after T. Usubaliev. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov is expected to attend.
The program of festive events includes:
- theatrical performance dedicated to the renewal of nature and the unity of the people;
- traditional sumolok treat and national games;
- large-scale daytime concert, as well as a gala concert at 7:00 PM featuring the country's leading artists.
The celebration will conclude at 9:30 PM with colorful fireworks display that will brighten the night sky of Naryn.
Note that in 2025, Nooruz was celebrated in Osh with the participation of President Sadyr Zhaparov.
