New bank opened in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Dec. 9, 2025. /Kabar/. New commercial bank, Bereket Bank, has opened in Kyrgyzstan, becoming the country's 22nd commercial bank, according to data published on the National Bank's website.

According to the regulator, Zharkynbek Sagyndykov has been appointed Chairman of the Board of Bereket Bank CJSC. He has significant experience in the banking sector:

  • In June 2024, he was appointed First Deputy Chairman of the Board of Bai-Tushum Bank;
  • In September 2024, the National Bank approved his candidacy for the position of Chairman of the Board of Bai-Tushum Bank;
  • He previously served as Chairman of the Board of Commercial Bank KYRGYZSTAN OJSC.

On December 8, the National Bank of Kyrgyzstan announced that Bereket Bank CJSC had received a license to conduct banking operations in national and/or foreign currency.

The decision to issue a permit to establish a bank was made by the Board of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic on October 10, 2025.
