Bishkek, Oct. 28, 2025 /Kabar/. Ceremony to inaugurate the new building of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic with the participation of President Sadyr Zhaparov took place in Bishkek. The new building of the National Bank is located at the intersection of Kalyk Akiev and Kievs streets.
“Today we are opening a new page in the financial history of our country. This day symbolizes our independence, stability, and unity of the people. The opening of the new National Bank building is a significant event, confirming Kyrgyzstan's confident steps towards sustainable development and renewal. After gaining independence in 1991, one of the first important steps was the creation of our own monetary and credit system. During that crucial period, the National Bank was able to lay a solid economic foundation for the state,” the president said.
