Bishkek, July 3, 2026. /Kabar/. Airports of Kyrgyzstan JSC continues its consistent work to develop international cargo aviation and strengthen the transit potential of Kyrgyzstan.

Representatives of the Chinese logistics company ZTO Express, one of the world's largest express delivery and logistics operators, with an extensive international network and an industry leader in freight volume visited Bishkek.

During the talks, the parties discussed the prospects of launching a new international cargo route that will connect Bishkek with European countries using multimodal logistics.

The project envisions the delivery of cargo by road to Kyrgyzstan, followed by processing and reloading at Manas International Airport, after which the cargo will be sent by air to European recipients.

The project's implementation will significantly reduce delivery times between Asia and Europe, improve the efficiency of international logistics chains, increase air cargo volumes, attract new transit cargo flows, create additional jobs, and generate additional revenue for the country's economy.

Today, Kyrgyzstan is confidently strengthening its position on the international transport map. Significant factor contributing to the development of cooperation with the world's largest logistics operators was the removal of Kyrgyzstan from the European Union's aviation blacklist. This decision opened up new opportunities for the development of international air transportation, strengthened the trust of foreign partners, and increased the investment attractiveness of the country's aviation industry.

Chairman of the Board of Kyrgyzstan Airports JSC Manasbek Samidinov emphasized that the creation of modern cargo routes is a key area for the development of domestic aviation.

"Kyrgyzstan will become a new logistics bridge between Asia and Europe. We are creating a modern transport and logistics infrastructure that will effectively integrate road and air transport, attract international cargo flows, and open up new opportunities for our country in global trade. The interest of large international companies like ZTO Express confirms Kyrgyzstan's growing reputation as a reliable partner and a promising regional transport hub," noted Manasbek Samidinov.
