Bishkek, July 31, 2026 /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov officially welcomed Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev at the Rukh Ordo Cultural Center in Cholpon-Ata as part of his state visit.
During the ceremony, the national anthems of both countries were played, and a National Guard honor guard was formed. The leaders of the two countries then met with members of their official delegations.
The visit includes private talks between the heads of state and the third meeting of the Interstate Council.
During the state visit, the presidents will discuss current bilateral issues and prospects for further strengthening cooperation.
The signing of a number of bilateral documents is also expected.
