Bishkek, June 18, 2026. /Kabar/. The opening ceremony of the IV International Festival "Art of Dance – 2026" took place in Osh, bringing together dance artists from around the world.
According to the city administration, the festival featured dance groups, choreographers, cultural figures, and artists from Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Russia, Turkey, China, and Romania. Creative groups from Kyrgyzstan are also participating.
Deputy Mayor of Osh Masuda Aidarbekova attended the opening ceremony. She congratulated the participants on the start of the festival and wished them creative success.
As noted by the organizers, the festival aims to strengthen international cultural ties, facilitate the exchange of experience between dance artists from different countries, and promote national cultural heritage.
As part of the festival, concert programs featuring international and domestic groups have been prepared for city residents and visitors.
