Bishkek, May 11, 2026 /Kabar/. On May 10, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov inspected the construction of a new, modern bus station complex in Bishkek. This was reported by the presidential press service.
The head of state was introduced with design for the complex, which will consist of nine units and include:
- hotel for drivers and staff,
- spacious waiting room,
- platform,
- administrative building,
- commercial space,
- parking areas for intercity and international buses,
- separate parking areas for passenger cars and other vehicles.
Sadyr Zhaparov toured the facility and instructed that a primary focus be placed on high-quality construction and materials.
Construction work is expected to be completed by August of this year.
