Bishkek, June 25, 2026 /Kabar/. Small hydroelectric power plant on Kurtka River in Naryn oblast will be commissioned by the end of 2026. President Sadyr Zhaparov announced at the meeting in Ak Tala district, Naryn oblast.
"Construction of a small hydroelectric power plant on Kurtka river in Zhany-Talap village is actively underway and is expected to be completed by the end of this year, after which the facility will be commissioned," the head of state noted.
As a reminder, Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov met with leaders and residents of the Ak-Tala district today, June 25, during a working visit to the Naryn region.
