Bishkek, July 23, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov received Kubanychbek Omuraliev, Secretary General of Organization of Turkic States (OTS), in Cholpon-Ata today, July 23.
According to presidential administration, the head of state emphasized the progressive development of cooperation between the OTS countries, drawing attention to the importance of timely and high-quality implementation of previously reached agreements.
Sadyr Zhaparov noted the need to further deepen economic cooperation, develop transport and other infrastructure, and implement joint investment projects. In this regard, he noted the special role of the Turkic Investment Fund as an effective mechanism for promoting the priority initiatives of participating states, emphasizing the Kyrgyz side's interest in actively leveraging its potential.
The president also emphasized that the Organization should continue to prioritize the development of cultural, humanitarian, and socioeconomic cooperation.
During the meeting, they discuss issues related to the further development of cooperation within OTS, the implementation of previously reached agreements, and interaction in the priority areas of the amalgamated territorial community's activities.
