Bishkek, July 23, 2026 /Kabar/. Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov received Belarusian Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhenkov in Cholpon-Ata today, July 23.
According to the presidential press service, they exchanged views on current issues of bilateral cooperation and the further expansion of interaction in all key areas.
The head of state emphasized the presence of all necessary conditions for further strengthening bilateral cooperation, including a high level of political dialogue, a solid legal framework, and a mutual commitment to implementing the agreements reached.
Sadyr Zhaparov also expressed confidence that today's meeting will be an important contribution to strengthening the partnership between the two countries, expanding mutually beneficial cooperation, and developing a trusting political dialogue between Kyrgyzstan and Belarus.
The importance of Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko's upcoming participation in the SCO summit and the opening ceremony of the 6th World Nomad Games was particularly noted.
For his part, Maxim Ryzhenkov conveyed Alexander Lukashenko's greetings and good wishes to Sadyr Zhaparov.
He congratulated Kyrgyzstan on its election as a non-permanent member of the UN Security Council, expressing confidence that the country will make a significant contribution to the Council's activities.
Particular attention was also paid to the further development of trade and economic cooperation and the implementation of joint projects.
At the end of the meeting, Sadyr Zhaparov and Maxim Ryzhenkov reaffirmed their readiness for continued close cooperation and their commitment to the consistent implementation of the agreements.
