President Zhaparov receives Belarusian PM Turchin

Bishkek, June 5, 2026. /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov receives Belarusian Prime Minister Alexander Turchin, who arrived in the country on official visit.

The head of state noted that Alexander Turchin's visit is important evidence of the consistent development of Kyrgyz-Belarusian cooperation and a common aspiration to further strengthen friendly relations between the two countries.

During the meeting, the parties discussed issues of developing cooperation in trade and economy, industry, energy, agriculture, mining and tourism sectors.

President Sadyr Zhaparov stressed that Kyrgyzstan is interested in expanding cooperation with Belarus, including the implementation of projects to establish joint ventures, localize production, and attract modern technologies.

Prime Minister Alexander Turchin conveyed the greetings and good wishes of President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, and also congratulated Kyrgyzstan on its election to the UN Security Council.

"This is, of course, success of Kyrgyz diplomacy and evidence of high trust of the world community,” Alexander Turchin emphasized.

The parties noted the need to implement the agreements reached and implement the Roadmap for the development of trade and economic cooperation until 2030 in a timely manner. They also confirmed their readiness to further strengthen bilateral cooperation in all areas of mutual interest.

In conclusion, the president conveyed warm greetings to his counterpart Alexander Lukashenko and said that he looked forward to the participation of the President of Belarus in the SCO summit and the opening ceremony of the VI World Nomad Games.
