Bishkek, June 8, 2026. /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov received Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos, who arrived in the country on official visit.
The meeting discussed the prospects for bilateral and multilateral cooperation.
The president drew attention to the deepening of cooperation in the fields of tourism, investment, finance and interbank relations, as well as within international organizations.
In turn, Cypriot Foreign Minister Constantinos Kombos congratulated President Sadyr Zhaparov on the election of Kyrgyzstan to a non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council, noting that this is a significant achievement and evidence of the high level of trust shown by the international community.
He noted that he had come to Kyrgyzstan to give new impetus to the development of bilateral relations, and said that the parties had sufficient potential for this.
At the end of the meeting, President Sadyr Zhaparov thanked Konstantinos Kombos for his congratulations and expressed his readiness for mutually beneficial cooperation.
