President Zhaparov receives Prime Minister Aripov

Bishkek, June 22, 2026. /Kabar/. President Sadyr Zhaparov received Uzbek Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov today, June 22, in Cholpon-Ata.

During the meeting, the parties paid special attention to political and economic interaction and exchanged extensive views on topical issues of the bilateral agenda.

The head of state emphasized the steady development of the strategic partnership between the two countries and expressed confidence that the next meeting of the Intergovernmental Commission, which will be held tomorrow, will be an important step in further promoting priority areas of bilateral cooperation.

In turn, Abdulla Aripov thanked the head of state for the warm welcome and conveyed Shavkat Mirziyoyev's greetings and best wishes.

PM of Uzbekistan expressed his readiness to take the necessary steps to implement the high-level agreements reached between the leaders of the two countries.

At the end of the meeting, President Sadyr Zhaparov and Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov reaffirmed their readiness to continue to consistently strengthen Kyrgyz-Uzbek relations through joint efforts in the spirit of friendship, good neighborliness and strategic partnership for the well-being of the peoples of both countries and the sustainable development of Central Asia.
